Our high schoolers at Horizon are a valuable part of our Sunday Worship Experiences! We encourage them to not only attend on Sunday, but also to join a serve team and be a part of helping to build God's house. 

Wednesday nights at 6:30-8:30pm, students meet at the Horizon Campus for 418, our youth ministry. There they have time to eat snacks and play games with friends, encounter God through worship, prayer, a message, and connect with others their age in connect groups. 

Middle School students (6th-8th grade) join us for Horizon Middle School on Sundays at 11am! They go to worship in the main auditorium from 11-11:30am, then walk over with our middle school team leaders to HMS for the remainder of service. HMS is our youth service tailored to middle schoolers on Sunday mornings, located in our Growth Track room from 11:30am-12:10pm on Sundays. After HMS, the students walk back to the main auditorium as a group to reconnect with their parents/guardians after the Worship Experience.

Yes, we have your student's best interest in mind when it comes to safety and security. All of our volunteers are background checked and fingerprinted. At 418 our students check-in with our leaders at the welcome table before going to grab snacks and play games during the pre-party from 6:30-7pm, where they can hang out in the lobby or outside right in front of the building. At 7-8:30pm, all the students stay in the main auditorium, and our youth leaders ensure the safety of the students throughout the night.

The first time your middle or high schooler attends 418 on Wednesday, our team will assist them in check-in, introduce them to their connect group leaders, and help them meet others their age. Our adult youth leaders and student leaders are ready to meet your student, answer any questions they may have, and be a friendly face for their first time at youth group!

We have several youth events and invite nights throughout the semester for our teens. We also encourage them to download the 418Revolution app! This app has many incredible resources to answer questions students have, help them grow in their faith, and dive into God's word in a deeper way. 

If you are interested in helping out with student ministry, the first step is attending Growth Track at Horizon! Growth Track is a 3-week class that meets at 12:30pm the first 3 Sundays of the month. This is located in our Growth Track room and is the first step to joining a serve team here at Horizon!
