Horizon Church is a community of believers in the Reno-Sparks area who are passionate about living for Christ. God has called us to build His church. We will do this and declare His goodness, love, salvation and power to the world around us. We want this to be a place you can call home, and the people here to be ones you call family. We believe in raising up the next generation to know their God-given purpose and make an impact in the world around them. Through our youth group and activities, we provide opportunities for students to grow in their relationship with God and in friendships with each other.

Water Baptism
Baptism is an important step in our faith that demonstrates the decision to make Jesus the Lord and Savior over our lives. When believers are baptized, the submerging under water is a dying to the old way of living, and coming alive to living through Christ. Water baptism is a declaration that you are a follower of Jesus, you are a new creation in Him, and you are being adopted into a new family.

Prayer is powerful. We would love to join you in praying for whatever you are going through! Our team prays over every request we receive, and we desire to see you experience the breakthrough of God in your life. James 5:13-16 reminds us that in any situation we should pray, and there is power in that prayer!
