We're Glad You're Here!

We want church to be a place that you can call home and for the people here to become like family. It can be intimidating visiting somewhere for the first time, but let us reassure you that you belong here! We want you to feel welcomed, loved, and comfortable when you walk in our doors. There are people here ready to greet you, welcome you in, and help you get connected. If you are looking for a church family in the Reno-Sparks area, we can’t wait to meet you!

There is no reserved parking, so feel free to park anywhere that is open! Horizon has many parking spaces located in front of and behind the building. Please feel free to also park at neighboring businesses as we have parking agreements with our neighbors to the east and west of Horizon campus. This includes the parking lots of the childcare office to the east, and the medical offices to the west.

We offer two Worship Experiences – 9:30 & 11AM. We encourage arriving at least 5 minutes early to ensure time to grab a seat and some free refreshments from the Horizon Cafe. During both of these service times, we offer engaging, safe, fun children’s programs where they learn about God’s love for them and God’s Word. If you have kids, we recommend coming 15 minutes early to allow for check in time. You can also pre-register your child online before you get to church! (CTA: Pre-Register Your Child)

There are many ways to get connected at Horizon! On Sunday, you can visit with our Connect team in the lobby before or after either Worship Experience. Another great way to get connected is by attending Growth Track at 12:30pm during the first 3 weeks of the month. When Horizon GROUPS are in session during winter, spring, and summer, they are an incredible way to build community and make friends. To start connecting right now even before you enter the building, let us know you’re coming! We can’t wait to meet you.

We love creating an atmosphere for kids to develop a relationship with Jesus, know the truth of God’s Word, and discover their purpose from a young age.

To save some time on checking-in kids for your first visit, you can pre-register your child here! When you arrive on Sunday, our team will be waiting to welcome you and help you check in your kids.

We are all about kids here at Horizon Church!! We provide safe, clean and fun environments as we teach from the Bible, sing songs, and participate in activities to connect kids to the lesson and to each other.
